RH moves down and back towards the body on the CL.

both arms move up and back to centre line, (the arms and spine now make a straight line) with body still in gong bu, the L palm is up the R palm is down. The LH grip on the sword is released slightly to allow the RH thumb around the grip next to the guard, then the RH continues to entirely grip the sword knuckles along the same side of the handle as the edge. The LH tucks in over the RH wrist.

Both arms come down so that the arms are now hanging vertically in front of the body.

The arms then separate with the LH stroking along the back of the blade to the point. Sword horizontal.

The arms then carry on up in an arc to approx. 45° up and out, the sword now hanging vertically from the RH. While standing up onto LL, RL raised, upper leg horizontal.

Arms stay at the same height and move together at the CL, both palms away from body.

Stab the sword down the CL while stamping down with RL, ending with hands approx. neck height.
From the sword horizontal to the arms in a circle above the head, just one move. Do not pause with arms out to 45 degrees.
